One of my joys the last two days has been seeing my little girl be a big girl and get on the school bus. She takes on this whole different attitude when it's school time. It starts with asking 50 times when the bus is coming. Then every time she has to go to the little girl's room she says "I'll hurry, so I don't miss my bus!" So, we had a lesson in telling time about the 30th time she asked why the bus wasn't here yet. When it finally arrived, she was all smiles and gave her siblings kisses good-bye and proudly runs to the bus. It took everything out of her to stop and smile for this picture. When she arrives home, after her greetings to Noah and Elisa, she asks me how my day was and the details of what she missed. Then if she doesn't curl up and take a short nap before supper (school is hard work) she gets back to being a little girl playing with her brother and sister.
It truly has been a blessing being at home for two days....but, it's back to school tomorrow!
What a big girl -- Alex & I didn't ride the bus until we were in middle school! We hope you are having lots of fun at school, Katina!
